Privacy Policy

Summary (not a substitute for the full policy). DayOrbit is built to store your productivity data on your device by default. We do not create a DayOrbit user account on RA Apps LTD servers for normal app use, we do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your tasks or calendar content for advertising or tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. Optional iCloud sync is provided by Apple under your Apple ID. Controller: RA Apps LTD (UK). Contact: support@raapps.site.

This Privacy Policy describes how RA Apps LTD (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the DayOrbit iOS application (the “App”) and the marketing website at https://dayorbit.raapps.site (a product site of raapps.site) (together, the “Service”). It is intended to be clear for users and consistent with the privacy information we provide in App Store Connect.

Please also read our Terms of Use.

1. Who we are (data controller)

Controller: RA Apps LTD
Company number: 17027556
Company type: Private limited company (Active)
Incorporated: 11 February 2026
Registered office: 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX
Product: DayOrbit
Privacy / support contact: support@raapps.site

For the UK GDPR and, where applicable, the EU GDPR, RA Apps LTD is the controller of personal data processed for DayOrbit support and the marketing website, except where a third party (for example Apple) processes data as an independent controller under its own privacy notice.

2. No DayOrbit account on our servers

DayOrbit does not require you to create an account with RA Apps LTD and does not store your tasks, events, habits, focus sessions, journals, or insights on RA Apps LTD servers as part of normal App use.

Because we do not operate a developer-hosted account for your productivity data, Apple’s guideline on in-app account deletion does not apply in the same way as apps that create online accounts. You can delete your data on device (see Section 8).

3. Information processed in the App

3.1 Information you enter (content data)

You may enter information such as:

  • Task, event, habit, focus block, and reminder titles, notes, dates, times, priorities, tags, subtasks, estimated durations, and recurrence rules
  • Calendar-related organization of your day and multi-day events
  • Habit streaks and completion history
  • Focus session history and optional ambient-sound preferences
  • Weekly insight reflections and “What went well” journal prompts
  • App preferences (for example theme, notifications, biometric lock, Focus Day)

This information is stored locally on your device (using Apple’s on-device storage frameworks such as SwiftData). You control what you enter. Do not enter information you are not comfortable storing on your device.

3.2 Optional iCloud sync

If you enable iCloud sync, Apple may synchronize App data with iCloud associated with your Apple ID so you can use DayOrbit across your devices. That processing is performed by Apple under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. RA Apps LTD does not operate the iCloud service and does not receive a copy of your iCloud-synced DayOrbit data from Apple for our own servers.

You can turn iCloud sync off and manage iCloud storage in your device and Apple ID settings.

3.3 Device permissions

Depending on features you use, iOS may ask for permission to access:

  • Notifications — reminders, focus session alerts, and similar alerts you enable
  • Location — only if you enable location-based reminders; used to deliver those reminders, not to sell a location advertising profile
  • Face ID / Touch ID — unlock the App if you enable biometric lock (biometric templates stay in the system Secure Enclave; we do not receive your biometric data)
  • Calendar / system integrations — only if a future version offers optional import/export with system calendars and you grant access (disclosed at the time of request)

You can change permissions in iOS Settings. Denying a permission may disable the related feature only.

3.4 Diagnostics (Apple)

If you opt in to share analytics with app developers through Apple system settings, Apple may provide aggregated or diagnostic crash information according to Apple’s processes. We do not embed third-party advertising or third-party analytics SDKs in DayOrbit for cross-app tracking.

3.5 Support email

If you email support@raapps.site, we receive your email address, message content, and any attachments you send so we can respond. Please do not send passwords or other highly sensitive credentials.

3.6 Website server logs

When you visit our product or support web pages, standard web hosting logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) may be generated by the hosting provider for security and reliability. This is separate from data stored inside the App on your device. The marketing website may use browser localStorage to remember your theme preference. We do not intentionally run third-party advertising cookies on the marketing site as designed.

3.7 Purchases (if offered)

If DayOrbit is offered free, as a paid download, via in-app purchase, and/or via auto-renewable subscription as shown on the App Store, payment is processed by Apple. We may receive purchase entitlement status (for example product identifiers, transaction identifiers, and subscription status) needed to unlock or restore features. We do not receive your full payment card number.

4. How we use information

We use information only as needed to:

  • Provide App functionality that runs on your device based on data you enter
  • Respond to support and privacy requests you send us
  • Authenticate optional purchase entitlements via Apple where applicable
  • Meet legal obligations and protect against abuse or fraud related to our communications

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your DayOrbit tasks, calendar items, or journals to build advertising profiles or to track you across third-party apps and websites.

5. Tracking and App Tracking Transparency

DayOrbit is not designed to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising. We do not use the App to collect data for that purpose. If that ever changes, we will update this Policy and App Store privacy details, and request permission where required by Apple.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Limited sharing may occur only as follows:

  • Apple — App Store distribution, push notifications, iCloud, system services (widgets, Live Activities, Siri Shortcuts as applicable), StoreKit billing, and any optional Apple diagnostics you enable
  • Service providers — for example email or web hosting providers that process support messages or website traffic solely to provide those services to us
  • Legal requirements — if required by applicable law, regulation, or valid legal process
  • Business transfers — if RA Apps LTD is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information we hold (such as support emails) may transfer under appropriate safeguards

We do not share your on-device productivity entries with third parties because we do not host those entries on our servers during normal use.

7. International transfers

If you contact support, your message may be processed where RA Apps LTD or its service providers operate. Apple and hosting providers may process technical data outside the UK/EEA (including the United States). Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards used by those providers. See each provider’s documentation for details.

8. Retention & your choices

  • On-device App data: until you delete it in the App or delete the App (and any device backups you keep)
  • iCloud copies: according to your Apple ID / iCloud settings
  • Support emails: for as long as reasonably needed to handle your request and maintain legitimate business or legal records, then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed
  • Purchase entitlement records: as needed to restore purchases, prevent fraud, and meet accounting/tax/legal requirements (if applicable)

Your choices:

  • View and edit: manage entries inside DayOrbit
  • Export: use in-app export features (image or PDF of day/week) where available
  • Delete items: delete individual records in the App
  • Delete all local App data: remove the App from your device; if iCloud sync was enabled, also remove related iCloud data/backups in your Apple ID settings if you want copies gone from iCloud as well
  • Support records: email support@raapps.site to request deletion of support correspondence we hold, subject to legal retention needs
  • Permissions: revoke notifications, location, biometrics, and other permissions in iOS Settings

9. Security

We design DayOrbit to keep productivity data on device by default and to minimize data sent to us. You can enable biometric lock where offered. No system is perfectly secure; protect your device passcode and Apple ID.

10. Children

DayOrbit is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum digital consent age in your country, if higher). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App or support channels. If you believe a child has contacted us, email support@raapps.site and we will take appropriate steps.

Parents/guardians should use Apple’s parental controls and Family Sharing settings as appropriate.

11. Your rights (region-specific)

Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK, or California), you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection regarding personal data we hold about you (primarily support correspondence, since we do not host your in-app database). Contact support@raapps.site. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (UK: ICO).

We do not sell personal information as commonly defined under US state privacy laws.

12. App Store privacy information

Apple requires privacy disclosures (including App Privacy labels) in App Store Connect. We aim to keep those disclosures accurate and consistent with this Policy. Typical categories for an on-device productivity app may include data used for app functionality and, if purchases are offered, purchase information via Apple. If you believe a label is incorrect, contact support@raapps.site.

13. Legal bases (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)

Where UK/EU data protection law applies, we rely on:

  • Contract — to provide features you request and respond to support when you contact us
  • Legitimate interests — security, operating the marketing website, and defending legal claims, balanced against your rights
  • Consent — where required (for example optional OS permissions)
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information by law

14. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date will change when we do. The current version will always be available at this URL. Material changes may also be described in App Store release notes or in-app notices where appropriate.
